Dog Owners

This goes out to all the people that don't pick up after your dog. You really should be ashamed of yourself. Pick up after your dog when you take them out. By not picking their waste up it promotes germs, crap all over the sidewalk, and stuck to the bottom of shoes. It also makes Liberty Harbor more of a dump than it might seem. It's gross and makes me wonder what kind of person you are. So PICK UP!

I asked property management-ski countless times to install the doggie bag dispensers only to get "we will look into it-ski".

What's worse? Dog droppings or vomit all over the place from the beer hall?

Why is it managements job to provide doggie bags and dispensers? This only adds the costs of running the building and should not be borne by all residents.

Look around all the other "luxury" developments, and there is your answer. Those little stands are 20 dollars and the YEARLY supply rolls are a whopping 63 dollars.

LHN touts itself as some cutting edge oasis, but in reality they can't even offer a nice dog run, biodegradable poop bags, or clean the neighborhood up to an acceptable level. The beer garden on the the other hand has uninterrupted television, a clean environment, and when the customers do #OOPS# things (on a nightly basis), property management turns a blind eye.

How about some garbage cans, that's not asking too much. There literally is not a single outside garbage can, its so frustrating. It can be too much of a cost to install 3-4 garbage cans on a couple corners so people don't throw their trash on the ground or carry around their dog business back into the building to a garbage shoot.

Whether there are garbage cans or not, or bags supplied or not... all dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog no matter what the situation. As a dog owner, you have taken on the responsibilty to lawfully curb your dog. As a fellow dog owner at LHN, I know that it is not difficult to carry a bunch of poop bags when walking the pooch and picking up after them. If a dog owner can't do this simple task, why have a dog?

As a dog owner, I agree. This seems to be an issue with the smaller dogs, judging by the size of the presents left on the sidewalk.

A bag dispenser and some trash cans would go a long way in cleaning up this place. I don't know how many times I have seen garbage just dropped on the sidewalk by the ZH club.

If I had a baby I would let it poop on the sidewalk b/c LHN doesn't provide diaper dispensers.

There are huge piles of dog waste on the sidewalks large & small. I saw a dog owner not picking up after their dog. Today they let their large dog go under a tree and not pick it up. Yesterday that same dog did his business on the path between LH & gulls cove. The owner didn't bother to pick it up. Bottom line is pick up after your dog or don't have a dog if you can handle the responsiblity.

Why didn't you ask the owner to pick up the poop? I always keep an extra bag with me so when I see this happen (often), I ask them if they need a bag. It usually catches them off guard.
